Low voltage DC power distribution can replace high voltage AC power in buildings with a safer, smarter technology far more appropriate to the low power needs and digital intelligence potential of most electronic devices.

Rethink your traditional power distribution methods

Lighting systems are one of the largest electrical draws in buildings. LED (Light Emitting Diode) technology has improved in quality, reliability, and cost to the point where it is now the defacto choice for nearly all lighting in most new construction projects.

LED lights all run on low voltage DC (Direct Current) power. Most of the cost of common LED light fixtures is tied to the fact that in anticipation of being wired to a high voltage AC (Alternating Current) electrical system, each light fixture needs a integral transformer to convert the power to low voltage. An alternative to this approach is to simply eliminate the high voltage wiring. Low voltage wiring technology can reduce initial costs, operational costs, and future maintenance... all while increasing efficiency, safety, reliability, and control.

The LumenCache platform replaces traditional 110V AC power distribution in buildings with a new standard more appropriate to the low power needs and digital capabilities of electronic devices including LED lights.
